The original creator released The Twitch as a beta-stage FRT concept, noting that printed versions typically lasted only 17–51 rounds in Polymaker PLA Pro before replacement. This version addresses that weak point by producing the component from PA612 CF nylon, providing increased strength, wear resistance, and heat resistance over standard PLA while maintaining the original open-source design.
